Well, What is it?
Our game is one of the well-known party games played worldwide. It is fun, wild & full of laughs! It is played in almost every college around the nation, and has been a popular drinking game for years. Often imitated by other names such as Circle of Death, Ring of Fire, Loaded Kings, & Categories, some things have been lost since the start of the game, including the name it self and the rules that started this drinking game. It is a social "party in a cup" that is to be played by 3 or more people, and is one of the best drinking games out there because involves everyone at the table for the whole entire game; unlike other drinking games that only involve a couple people at a time and everyone else is just standing around waiting for their turn. With this package set, you will have the party laughing hysterically the whole time while you are playing.
First, the only way to play a true, legitimate game is by purchasing a game package from our online store or retail store near you. Then gather up your friends, grab some drinks, put on some music and let the party begin! This is the only way you can fully experience and truly enjoy one of the best, most traditional drinking games known to man. Ok, enough said…
Instructions to play:
Set Up:
1. Best if played with 3 + people
2. Place the mug in center of table (Empty) and spread playing cards face down surrounding the mug (be sure to remove the 2 rule cards for reference).
3. Each player: choose your personal drink of choice and have refills on-hand.
***Now sit down and begin by drawing cards from the table***
How to Start Your Kings Cup Party:
Choose one person to start the game by simply turning over a card and following the printed rule. Example: (5 “Up High” = the last person to raise their hand in the group must drink some of their own beverage). Continue around the table in whichever direction you choose until the game is over.
How it Ends:
There are 4 K-i-n-g-s in this deck. When a person pulls one of the first 3, they must pour some of their personal drink into the Signature Kings Kup Drinking Game mug in the center of the table. The person who pulls the 4th k-i-n-g must consume the contents of the center mug and the game is over!!!
Now here are the Official & Original Rules:
- Ace “Social” = Everyone at the table raise your glasses together, cheers each other and take a drink!- 2 “Two is for you” = This rule means that the person pulling the card is allowed to pass out a total of 2 drinks to anyone @ the table!
- 3 “Three is for me” = The person pulling the card must take 3 drinks!
- 4 “Four is for whores” = Don’t be offended ladies. It is an honor to drink @ the Kings Kup table and each one of you must take a drink if a 4 is pulled!
- 5 “Five up high” = The last lazy person to raise their hand in the group must drink some of their own beverage!
- 6 “Six is for dicks” = Guys raise your glasses because you all have to take a drink!
- 7 “Seven is waterfall” = The person who pulled this card controls the waterfall, and chooses the direction the waterfall will go. The idea is that everyone starts drinking their own beverage @ the same time. Whoever pulled the 7 is the first person that can stop drinking. No one else @ the table can stop until the person in front of them has stopped!
- 8 “Eight pick a mate” = Pick any one person @ the table to drink with you. “Cheers partner!"
- 9 “Nine bust a rhyme” = The person who pulls this card starts the rhyme (either choose a single word or a short phrase for everyone to rhyme with). Play quickly around the table. If someone should stumble, or fails to rhyme, they must drink!
- 10 “Ten is categories” = The person who pulls this card will choose a category, which everyone must name an item in that category. (example; types of “car companies” Ford…Chevy…Toyota…BMW…etc.) Play quickly and be creative, make this one FUN!
- Jack “Make a rule” = If you pull this card, make a rule that everyone must follow for the rest of the game (example: The “No cussing” rule, you cannot swear/curse during the entire game, if you do you must drink).
- Queen “Question” = The Idea behind this rule is to NEVER answer a question. When you pull this card, quickly ask anyone @ the table a question. They must then ask someone else a question instead of answering yours. If you ANSWER OR PAUSE too long you must drink!
- King “1,2,3 pour, 4 drink” = If you pull one of the first three k-i-n-g-s, pour any amount of your beverage into the Kings Kup center mug. If you pull the fourth and final king, the game is over and you must drink the entire contents of the center mug…Congratulations You are the WINNER!
- Joker “Get Wild” = The Best Rule is “Make a Rule”. Well…we have taken it a step further and ask that you think outside the box. Get wild, get crazy, this is your chance to make this game your very own. Turn a rule into a fantasy! Be Creative!
There are four k-i-n-g-s in the deck. The first three players to pull a king must pour some of their drink into the Kings Cup @ the center of the table. The player who pulls the fourth king must drink the entire contents of the center mug. This player is the winner (or loser…however you look at it). Enjoy your drink and play again.
Does everyone drink out of the Kings Cup?
No! Everyone has there own drink. The Kings Cup is only poured into when the first 3 k-i-n-g-s are pulled from the deck. The Kings Cup is only consumed when a person pulls the 4th King from the card circle. They must then drink the entire contents of the center mug.
What am I buying, what is in the package?

It also comes with a 56 card playing card deck (a $10 dollar value) that has all the rules printed on the cards, this eliminates the tedious chore of writing the rules down every time you play. We have made is very simple for you! There
are also quick reference rule cards in the deck with the rules spelled
out for you in a way that is understandable; again, very easy for you! We have then gone above & beyond, and have made the cards 100% WATERPROOF!! Yes, you can spill on them all you want, play in the Jacuzzi or pool, play in the rain…etc., and the cards won’t be ruined. They won’t become soggy, crumpled, swollen, or warped due to wetness. Shake the cards off and enjoy more rounds of Kings Kup. We also throw in some free stickers as well. It's just a little icing on the cake ;)
Are the cards really waterproof?
Oh yes! They are made of industry-leading plastic technology that allows the cards to feel like normal playing cards, yet maintain that water repellent characteristic that we have all grown to love. You will never need another deck of cards again.
We have included all suits and colors on these cards. What does this mean?
It means you can play almost any card game that you can think of with this one deck of cards! Poker, Speed, War, and even other drinking games!
